[From Dictionary of British and Irish Botanists, by Ray Desmond, 1994, p. 421:] LEE James (1754-1824) d. 10 June 1824. Son of J. Lee (1715-1795). Partner in Lee and Kennedy's Vineyard Nursery, Hammersmith until 1818; alone 1818-24; left property to his 2nd wife Eliza and his sons John, Charles and James Lee.
