Vol. 8: 1858 (includes January-July 1858; subsequent issues were delivered late: August 1858 in March 1859, September 1858 in August 1859, October 1858 in October 1859, November 1858 in November 1859, December 1858 in December 1859.)
Second Series: Vol. 1: 1859 (starts in January 1859, subsequent installments seem to have been delayed:
- the 6th installment (June) speaks on the frosts of December
- the 7th installment (July) continues on frosts and publishes a letter dated 5th November 1859,
- the 8th installment (August) refers to the frosts of past December and publihes a letter dated 12th January 1860
- the 9th installment (September) lists plants commercialized in 1860.
- From the 12th installment (December), p. 265: Malgré la complication d'un pareil travail, nous avons cependant gagné plus de quatre mois sur l'arriéré. L'année 1859, commencée vers la fin de septembre, se trouve, en effet, publiée en sept mois. [Despite the complexity of such work, we have nevertheless gained more than four months on the backlog. The year 1859, which began towards the end of September, was, in fact, published in seven months. --> i.e. the issues January-December 1859 were actually published September 1859-March 1860]
