The new and improved
HelpMeFind.com/Clematis...? Well, I hope so. Hello. My name is Alex Sutton -- some of you already know me from
HelpMeFind.com/Roses and HelpMeFind.com/Peonies -- I'll be your guide here at
HelpMeFind.com/Clematis as well.
If you're wondering why the site looks a little different, it's because I've been reorganizing information, adding more information, pictures, etc. (This is an ongoing process -- it never ends!)
To help you get the most from the site, here are some tips for getting yourself around.
Locating the page for a clematis.
For an example, we'll use Clematis 'Ernest Markham'. You could look it up by the name of the cultivar alone ('Ernest Markham') or by the genus (which would be Clematis here abbreviated to C.) followed by the name of the cultivar. Here's how you do it:
SEARCH LISTS
CLEMATIS BY NAME
Ernest Markham (or C. 'Ernest Markham')
If you're not sure about spelling of a name there's a third way to look up the page for a clematis. Here's how to do it:
CUSTOM SEARCH
NAME = ernest
Click the SEARCH button.
When the list of clematis that meet your criteria is displayed, click on a name to find out more about it.
Locating a clematis by Group.
Here you have a couple of choices.
SEARCH LISTS
CLEMATIS BY CLASS
or
CUSTOM SEARCH
CLASS = (for instance) Montana
Using the CUSTOM SEARCH feature, you can find Clematis by COLOR, FRAGRANCE, BREEDER, YEAR, BLOOMING PERIOD, and FRAGRANCE.
Keep in mind that any text in blue is a link to more information about whatever it is that's highlighted in blue.
