I am beginning my rose garden. As of right now, I have two.

One is a beautiful shade of yellow, Apertif. I have had no issues with this rose bush. It has constant and consistent blooms, and the roses stay on for quite a while. However, it is susceptible to aphids.

The other one was purchased for it's fragrance even though my garden was to consist of yellow and purple flowers, I couldn't resist this one. It is the much acclaimed Gertrude Jekyll. This rosebush is outstanding. Definately put it where you can appreciate the very strong and old rose fragrance!

I am on my third season purchasing roses, and this year I am looking for a weeping standard tree rose. I hope to have them soon!
