Linda Perry's Rose Garden
Rose (member) Garden
Listing last updated on Sun Nov 2024
The rose in the photograph is 'Celsiana'. Linda grows roses on an old farmstead in northeastern Indiana - she's a transplant from Vermont where she learned to grow roses that would survive cold winters, mostly OGRs and Canadian Explorers. She now has extensive mixed beds of Rugosas, Canadian Explorers, OGRs including Albas, Damasks, Gallicas, and Portlands, English Roses, and grows lots of climbers and ramblers on an old iron fence that surrounds the old farmhouse. She doesn't spray and mixes roses with lots of companions like herbs, perennials, shrubs and even fruit trees!
