Dornroschenschloss Sababurg, the "Sleeping Beauty Castle" is situated in the middle of a forest. The rose garden was designed with the assistance of Hedi and Dr. Wernt Grimm, of the association of German Rose Friends (VDR) and the rose park of Wilhelmshohe in Kassel. They chose roses that in bloom form, color and fragrance seemed to be within the concept of the Grimms' fairy tale.
