Caesar's Garden is a small area under my dining room bay window, named for my first and forever dog, Caesar. He loved to lay under the bay window in the shade and listen to me walk the wood floors in the house. After he passed, I turned this small area into his garden, with predominantly white flowering plants and shrubs, stepping stones, a bird bath and statuary. Ramses came to love Caesar's garden too, although he used to lay in a different spot under the bay window. Now that he has passed Diana pawPrints is finding all of Caesar's favorite spots to take her naps. I have river stones with sand etched names for all of them and they are added to this garden in memory of Caesar and all of my dogs.
Most of my roses are in the front yard. I have a Dog Rose Garden with roses for past and current dogs when I can find them: Cuppy (Princess Buttercup), Candy (Apricot Candy rose tree), Diana pawPrints (Sweet Diana), Dolly (Dolly's Forever rose) and Freyja (Freja), plus one for me (Mary Alice). I could not find roses for Mitzi, Caesar, Goliath or Ramses. I have other roses from miniatures to hybrid tea, floribunda and grandiflora, and climbers, both miniature and full size.)
In addition to roses I have fuchsias, pelargoniums, hydrangeas, calla lilies, cannas and a variety of annuals plus fruit trees and a vegetable garden.
