In Winter 2008 we bought a 30 years old house. The garden didn't deserve it's name, it was a nightmare. No lawn, only moss and weed, thick Thuja hedges, a sick cherry tree, rhododendrons, too much shadow, no clear structures, no personality...
Grown up with my parents' rose garden, I had many roses in pots and many ideas and an understanding an soon enthusiastic husband. Together we created our first object, a small formal garden with a small box hedge, filled with roses, lavender and herbs. In spring 2010 the Thuja hedge was removed, and a new wall offered the possibilty for two large borders. Many borders more are planned, mainly planted with roses.
