Baden (not to be confused with Baden-Baden in Germany), lies 10 miles south of Vienna. The Rosarium was established 1969. 75000 m2 area. 20'000 roses in 600 different varieties. While the roses are mostly modern, this Rosarium has possibly the most complete show of Geschwind's roses.
[The rosarium in Doblhoffpark, Austria's largest rose garden. Well over 600 rose types blossom on more than 30,000 rose in 175 beds. The roses are in bloom twice a year, once in June and the second time in October.]
