In 1992, the "Société Romande des Amis de Roses" (the French-Swiss society of Rose Lovers), on occasion of its 25th anniversary, donated a rose garden to the town of Estavayer on the shores of the Lake of Neuchatel. 79 shrubs and a pergola with 31 climbers were planted near the lake. 15 of these are multiple plants.
