6/10-It's been a wet and wild spring here in Wyoming, not to mention a long time coming. We had record levels of moisture this spring that came in the form of late spring snow storms. Needless to say, I haven't had to do much watering so far this year.

Still busy working on my roses, although I've had to go back into the workforce so that doesn't leave me as much time to tend to them. They seem to be doing fine in my absence however!! Haven't added much lately, one rose last year which I can't for the life of me remember what it is! Then two this year. Sweetness and Baby Blanket. Both doing well so far.

I am just beginning to grow roses, and am having the best time doing it. I love just about every kind of rose there is. My home came with several large, well established roses when we moved in, and slowly I have been adding my own. I wasn't sure about planting roses at all with the climate being what it is in Wyoming. There isn't much of a growing season, and winter temperatures can dip below zero. However, I put in seven new roses in the summer of 2005, gave them winter protection, and everyone of them came back and are bigger and better.
