Rather important as a parent, on its own merits not particularly memorable..........reads like a Pernetiana as does its peer, Mojave. The genes just started popping 1948-1955, pelagornin was IN (literally), Fashion inroduced real clear CORAL, Sutter's Gold/Mojave/Fandango hit the US market..............it is odd, having grown all of the ones I have listed, just how "crude" they are.............they read, truly, as pernetianas from 30 years prior.............1945-1955 is actually a very interesting period for the modern rose.............
