This plant is at least 40 years old. It was inherited from my parents, who were rose collectors as well, and bought 'Budapest' from Jenő Halász in the early 1970es. Jenő Halász was a leading rose grower and breeder in his time in Hungary. 'Budapest' is a lovely cultivar, repeats reliably, it is a healthy plant with a moderate growth habit.
