This a pretty gallica, it's not a complete gallica, it's a supposed hybrid china and here in Maryland it gets a peculiar strain of blackspot which results in what some people call "damask crud" on the leaves, which doesn't cause defoliation but can sully the leaves. Also can ball in damp weather. Flowers are small and flesh-colored.
