Origin:
Bred by Jean-Baptiste Croibier (France, before 1913).
Introduced in Australia by H. Kemp in 1915 as 'Candeur Lyonnaise'.
Class:
Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
White, light yellow highlights.  None to mild fragrance.  Average diameter 6.5".  Very large, very full (41+ petals), borne mostly solitary bloom form.  Spring or summer flush with scattered later bloom.  
Habit:
Upright.  

Height: 39" to 5'11" (100 to 180cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Hardy.  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
The identity of the rose growing by this name at the San Jose Heritage Rose Garden has been questioned. It may be 'Frau Karl Druschki'.


Pépinières Loubert's 2002 Catalogue provides a date of 1913.
