Bred by Prosper-Joseph Joly (France, before 1836).
Class:
Gallica / Provins.  
Bloom:
Deep pink, violet shading.  Large, double (17-25 petals), in large clusters bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Tall, armed with thorns / prickles.  Large foliage.
