'Playful Happy Trails™' rose Description

Origin:
Bred by Tom Carruth (United States, before 2017). Introduced in United States by Edmunds' Roses in 2021 as 'Playful Happy Trails'.
Bloom:
Red, yellow center. Mild, tea fragrance. 5 to 7 petals. Average diameter 2". Medium, single (4-8 petals), in large clusters bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Ovoid, rounded buds.
Habit:
Spreading. Matte, dark green foliage. 3 to 5 leaflets.
Height: 8.5" to 11" (20 to 30cm). Width: 28" to 3' (70 to 90cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9a. Can be used for ground cover.

It has as its seed parent the variety known as `WEKsurdicla` (U.S. Plant Pat. No. 28,655) and as its pollen parent the variety known as `JAChaneflocba` (not patented).....The branches used for the photograph came from 3 to 4 year-old rose plants of the new variety grown outdoors in Wasco, Calif. in the month of November.
