"Eric's Red 1" rose Description

Bloom:
Crimson. Deep red with a velvety sheen. Strong fragrance. Very double bloom form.
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Found by Rose Marsh in an old neglected garden in the Western Australian wheatbelt. Owner says the roses were planted in the 1930s-1940s.
Dusky red, possibly incurved or balling, browning?, petals rolling back on themselves tightly.
Is either ‘Daily Mail Scented’ 1827 or Daily Mail Scented Cl.’ 1930. Advice is sought on the photos of the original plant uploaded on 1 January, 2019.
