Origin:
Bred by Eugène Verdier fils aîne (France, 1874).
Introduced in Australia by Law, Somner Pty. Ltd. in 1886 as 'Madame Rivière'.
Class:
Hybrid Bourbon, Hybrid China, Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
Pink.  Very large, very full (41+ petals) bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
