Bloom:
Red to deep pink. Double (17-25 petals), in small clusters, flat bloom form. Once-blooming spring or summer. Glandular sepals, leafy sepals, ovoid buds.
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles. Glossy, dark green foliage.
Height: 1.25" to 1.5" (3 to 4cm).

Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Rosa polyanthos Rössig is often mentioned as a synonym of Rosa damascena Mill. or Rosa centifolia L. The reference from Rössig shows that it was actually a seedling of Rosa belgica, cultivated by Schwarzkopf.
