Registration name: Rise 'n' Shine
Bloom:
Deep yellow. Moderate, rose, tea fragrance. 25 to 40 petals. Average diameter 1.5". Small to medium, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, in large clusters, high-centered bloom form. Prolific, continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season. Long, pointed buds.
Habit:
Medium, bushy, rounded, upright, well-branched. Small, semi-glossy, medium green, dense foliage.
Height: 16" to 20" (40 to 50cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 4b through 11. Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower or garden. Hardy. vigorous. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that. Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) . Can be grown in the ground or in a container (container requires winter protection). Can be pruned to maintain a shorter habit.
