Introduced in United Kingdom by Denny's Clematis Nursery in 1983 as 'Sylvia Denny'.
Class:
Early Large Flowered.  
Bloom:
White.  Strong fragrance.  Average diameter 5".  Single, semi-double bloom form.  Late spring to early summer, late summer to early autumn.  
Habit:

Height: 8' to 10' (245 to 305cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 4b through 9b.  Plant in sun or partial shade.  sheltered.  Suitable for growing in a container.  It blooms on the previous year's growth, so resist the urge to prune it in early spring.
