Origin:

Discovered by Bishop's Lodge Heritage Rose Garden (Australia).

Class:

Found Rose, Hybrid Perpetual.

Bloom:

Dark red. [Deep pink.] Crimson [Deep pink to crimson]. Strong fragrance. Average diameter 4.75". Double (17-25 petals), very double, globular bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season, spring or summer flush with scattered later bloom.

Habit:

Tall, upright.

Height: up to 4'11" (up to 150cm). Width: up to 39" (up to 100cm).

Growing:

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Can be used for cut flower, exhibition or garden. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
