Medium yellow Hybrid Tea.
Bloom:
Yellow. [Golden-yellow.]. Ochre to gold. Glandular pedicel and sepals. New growth red.. Average diameter 4.75". Double (17-25 petals), classic hybrid tea, cupped bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Habit:
Height: 47" to 6' (120 to 185cm). Width: up to 35" (up to 90cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Can be used for garden.
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
The Friends of Bishop's Lodge now consider "Bishop's Lodge Quiet Reflections" to be identical with "Bishop's Lodge Linton Gold", and have taken it off their lists. Refer Comments.
"Smart's Rose" was found by Maureen Scherini at Seaton Ross Road, Yornup, Western Australia.
LEAF. A rounded leaf with an acute tip.
Possible identification
1885 Primrose. Tea. Strong fragrance. This bush was short.
1887. Princess Beatrice Tea. illustrations show leaf veins. (The foundling has smooth leaves)
