Origin:
Bred by Jean Laffay (France, before 1831).
Class:
China / Bengale, Tea.  
Bloom:
Light pink, deep pink center, white undertones, red shading, ages to deep pink .  Large, very double, cluster-flowered, flat bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles.  Glossy, dark green foliage.  5 leaflets.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
