Bred by Georges Truffaut (....-1948) (France, 1965).
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Vermilion to coral, scarlet reverse, ages to orange-red .  Strong fragrance.  up to 40 petals.  Large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Medium buds.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, upright.  Dark green foliage.  

Height: 20" to 28" (50 to 70cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
