'Kim Rupert' rose Description

Bloom:
Red and yellow, stripes. Mild fragrance. 17 to 25 petals. Average diameter 2". Large, double (17-25 petals), cluster-flowered, in small clusters bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Habit:
Medium, armed with thorns / prickles, bushy, upright. Medium, semi-glossy, medium green foliage.
Height: 20" to 3' (50 to 90cm). Width: up to 30" (up to 75cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Can be used for beds and borders, cut flower, garden or landscape. Very vigorous. heat tolerant. prefers full sun. Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant. Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom. Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood.. Do not spray. Needs little care; relatively disease-free and quite hardy. Prune dead wood. Remove spent blooms only.

Striped miniature moss, red stripes on light yellow ground.

Notes:
Closely related to the popular Mini Moss Rose Gilardi, but is a taller grower with brighter coloring and larger blooms in clusters of 3 to 12 with each bloom about 2 inches in diameter. Stripes are bright scarlet red on pale yellow ground which fades to white. Moderate balsam-scented mossing on buds. Height 24" in warm climate. Striped Miniature Moss.
