Orange, cream shading. Strong fragrance. Full (26-40 petals), high-centered bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Habit:
Bushy, compact. Dark green foliage.
Height: 18" to 30" (45 to 75cm). Width: up to 2' (up to 60cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower or garden. Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant. Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) . Can be grown in the ground or in a container (container requires winter protection).

Fryer's Roses says Indian Summer has creamy-orange flowers of superb form... According to the New Zealand Plant Variety Rights (PVR) web page, application for a PVR Grant for this rose was made July 18, 1994 and granted July 18, 1997 (PVR Grant No. 1266). The breeder's Reference for this rose is Peaperfume. The New Zealand Trade Name is 'Sweet Perfume'. This PVR Grant expires July 18, 2020. Breeder is listed as The Limes New Roses.
