Bred by Hermann Berger (1939 - 1980) (Germany, 1977). Bred by Anni Berger (1904 - 1990) (Germany, 1977).
Introduced in Germany by GPG Roter Oktober, Bad Langensalza in 1977 as 'Wartburg 77'.
Class:
Shrub.  
Bloom:
Yellow.  Mild to strong fragrance.  Large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Arching, bushy, spreading.  Medium green foliage.  

Height: up to 8'2" (up to 250cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
