'Golden Oldie' rose Description

Deep yellow Hybrid Tea.

Bloom:
Deep yellow, apricot shading. 40 petals. Average diameter 4". Large, double (17-25 petals) bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Habit:
Medium.
Height: 3' to 42" (90 to 105cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 7b and warmer. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that. Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .

Fryer's Roses describes this rose as follows: Masses of golden yellow
blooms that are large and superbly formed and carried evenly on a neat bush of medium size. Very early to flower and extremely quick to repeat ensuring a reliable display through the summer.
Golden Oldie is named after one of the UK's oldest charities, the Gardener's Royal Benevolent Society (GRBS).
