Registration name: Dutch Hedge
Origin:
Bred by Albert Arie Nijveldt / Nyveldt (Netherlands, before 1957).
Class:
Hybrid Rugosa, Shrub, Understock.  
Bloom:
Light pink.  Moderate fragrance.  Small, single (4-8 petals) bloom form.  Ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles.  Small, light green foliage.  

Height: 2' to 28" (60 to 70cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Roseto Botanico Carla Fineschi lists 'Dutch Hedge' twice, as hybrid nitida and hybrid rugosa.
Different opinions on seed parent.
