Red blend Hybrid Tea. Registration name: Dazla (pernetiana, Cant, 1930)
Bloom:
Orange - scarlet, golden-yellow undertones, golden-yellow reverse. Moderate fragrance. 12 petals. Average diameter 6". Very large, semi-double (9-16 petals), flat, open, ruffled bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Long buds.
Growing:
USDA zone 7b and warmer. Hardy. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that. Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .

Notes:
Member Singularly Beautiful Roses explains its difference to 'I Zingari' as follows: "Both plants were own root bushes from Vintage Gardens and neither was very vigorous. ....Dazla's color was slightly more reddish and had one more row of true petals than I Zingari. The latter had more of the characteristic tiny petaloids than Dazla."
