Origin:
Bred by Peter Lambert (Germany, 1899).
Introduced in Australia by George Brunning - St. Kilda Nurseries in 1904 as 'Eugénie Lamesch'.
Class:
Polyantha.  
Bloom:
Yellow to light yellow, pink shading, ages to white .  Mild, apple, spice, violets fragrance.  Medium, double (17-25 petals), in large clusters, cupped-to-flat bloom form.  Continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season.  
Habit:
Short, bushy, few or no prickles/thorns, spreading.  Glossy, dark green foliage.  

Height: 1' to 16" (30 to 40cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).

Notes:
Léonie and Eugénie Lamesch were daughters of the nurseryman Jean-Baptiste Lamesch in Dommeldingen, Luxemburg.
