White to red, pink stripes, pink edges. Moderate fragrance. Average diameter 2.5". Medium, full (26-40 petals), cupped-to-flat bloom form. Once-blooming spring or summer.

Armed with thorns / prickles, upright.

Daniel Lemonnier writes: Prevost in his 1829 catalogue mentions that this rose 'Unique panachée' was brought to Caron in Rouen in 1821 by Mme Chaussée from Le Havre, thus Mme Chaussee is considered to be the breeder. Mme d'Hebray is not the right name, it has been added many many years after.]

Early references consider 'Mme d'Hébray' as a synonym of the earlier centifolia 'Unique panachée'.
