Introduced in Australia by George Brunning - St. Kilda Nurseries in 1897 as 'Comtesse Anna Thun'.
Class:
Tea.  
Bloom:
Orange - yellow, yellow shading.  Strong fragrance.  Large, full (26-40 petals), cupped-to-flat bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).

Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Countess Anna Thun, née Anna Maria Wilhelmine Leopoldine Princessin zu Schwarzenberg (1854 - December 24, 1898), of Tetschen (today: Děčín in the Czech Republic), first wife of Franz Prince of Thun and Hohenstein (September 2, 1847 Tetschen - November 1, 1916 Tetschen), Austria-Hungarian politician.
There were also 2 azaleas 'Gräfin Anna von Thun' (pure white) and 'Graf Franz von Thun' (silky pink).
