Notes:
Nigel Pratt of Tasman Bay Roses says the semi-double flowers are rose pink with pronounced golden stamens when fully open... Sets hips This plant was discovered as a random seedling in St. Nicholas, Yorkshire. But I can't resist connecting the name of the rose with an historical event, so... Clement C. Moore's poem, A Visit from St. Nicholas, was published 23 December 1823.
