Agatha/Agathe, Centifolia, Damask.  

Deep pink.  Strong fragrance.  Large, very double bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  

Bushy.  

Height: 39" to 4' (100 to 120cm).  Width: up to 3' (up to 90cm).

USDA zone 4b through 9b.  Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood..  Prune after flowering is finished.  

The synonym 'A fleurs gigantesques' is suggested.
Pépinières Loubert catalogue for 2002 suggests the names 'Marie Louise' and 'Blush Belgic' as synonyms for this rose and cites the provenance of this rose as France c. 1800.
Lloyd Brace at The Roseraie at Bayfields says this is the same rose (Agathe Incarnata) they listed as 'Agatha' in their '97 catalog.
