'Beauté de l'Europe' rose Description

Bloom:
Deep yellow, copper reverse. Mild fragrance. Very large, very full (41+ petals), globular bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Habit:
Climbing, few or no prickles/thorns. Glossy, dark green foliage.
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Hardy. vigorous. Prune lightly or not at all.
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Sangerhausen classifies this rose as a Tea. There are different opinions on the parentage (see References). 'Beauté de l'Europe' in gardens and commerce is probably not the original rose.
Said to be similar to 'Juliette Doucet' - see.
