'Grand Impression' rose Description

Bloom:
Apricot or apricot blend. Flowers yellow, peach, pink blends, reverse apricot yellow. Moderate, fruity fragrance. 30 to 35 petals. Average diameter 6". Very large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, classic hybrid tea, formal, high-centered, reflexed bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Long, pointed, ovoid buds.
Habit:
Medium, upright, well-branched. Large, glossy, dark green, dense, leathery foliage.
Height: 5' (150cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 7b and warmer. Can be used for beds and borders, cut flower or garden. Vigorous. Disease susceptibility: mildew resistant, rust resistant. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that. Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .
