Bred by François-Simon Forest (France, before 1829). Bred by Jean-Pierre Vibert (France, 1830). Bred by Henri & Giraud Pradel (père & fils) (France, 1861).
Introduced in France by Vallet ainé in 1829 as 'Mousseuse Zoé'.

Moss.  
Bloom:
Light pink.  Foliage also mossy.  Moderate fragrance.  Large, moderately full, cupped-to-flat bloom form.  Sparse, spring or summer flush with scattered later bloom.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, upright.  Wavy or ruffled foliage.  

Height: up to 4' (up to 120cm).  Width: up to 3' (up to 90cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
