Light yellow Hybrid Tea.

Bred by Jean Henri (J.H.) Nicolas (United States, before 1932).
Introduced in United States by Jackson & Perkins Co. (Newark, NY) in 1935 as 'Eclipse'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1936 as 'Eclipse'.
Introduced in France by Meilland et Cie in 1937 as 'Eclipse'.

Hybrid Tea.  

Golden-yellow to cream, red shading, ages to white. Reddish filaments, smooth pedicel, pear-shaped hips.  Moderate fragrance.  25 to 30 petals.  Very large, very double, cupped, open bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long, pointed buds.  

Bushy.  Dark green, leathery foliage.  

Height: 42" to 5' (105 to 150cm).  Width: up to 4' (up to 120cm).

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .  Can be grown in the ground or in a container (container requires winter protection).
