Origin:
Bred by William Paul (1822-1905) (United Kingdom, 1892).
Introduced in Australia by George Brunning - St. Kilda Nurseries in 1897 as 'Clio'.
Class:
Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
Light pink, deep pink center.  Moderate fragrance.  Large, double (17-25 petals), globular bloom form.  Spring or summer flush with scattered later bloom.  
Habit:
Tall, armed with thorns / prickles, bushy.  

Height: 4' to 4'11" (120 to 150cm).  Width: 3' (90cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  A good subject for pegging.  Blooms tend to ball in wet weather.
