p35. Frank Mason & Son Ltd. 87 Years of Continuous Rose Growing.
When Alan and Mary were approaching their 70s, they appointed a young manager and gave him the opportunity to buy the shares and eventually run the business. Unfortunately, this was not successful, and we were very sad indeed when 1999 saw the demise of the oldest continuous rose growing business in New Zealand.
