Seven Dees Nursery and Garden Center was founded by Robert and Merle Snodgrass in 1957. The nursery was named Seven Dees in honor of their seven children: Daryle, Dennis, Drake, Dan, David, Drew, and Dean. In 1974, Dennis purchased the company from his father and changed the name to Dennis' Seven Dees.
