Bred by Robert A. Holmes (United Kingdom, 1976).
Introduced in United Kingdom by Fryer's Roses/Fryer's Nurseries Ltd. in 1976 as 'Sally Holmes'.
Class:
Hybrid Musk, Shrub.  
Bloom:
Cream, yellow stamens.  Mild fragrance.  5 petals.  Average diameter 3.5".  Large, single (4-8 petals), cluster-flowered, in large clusters bloom form.  Prolific, blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Tall, bushy, climbing, few or no prickles/thorns, well-branched.  Glossy, dark green foliage.  

Height: 6' to 12' (185 to 365cm).  Width: 3' to 5' (90 to 150cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 5b through 9b.  Can be used for cut flower, garden, landscape, pillar or shrub.  Vigorous.  shade tolerant.  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
