Bloom:
Mauve. Lilac, deep mauve, violet blue, amethyst & steel blue, lavender, reddish violet. a touch of white at center, paler petal reverse. Moderate, grape fragrance. Average diameter 1". Small, double (17-25 petals), in large clusters bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles. Dark green foliage.
Height: 1' to 2' (30 to 60cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 5b through 10b. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.

Notes:
The name was given in honor of a Belgian nursery. Joyce Demits at Tanglewood Farms says Baby Faurax has double, rich, lavender flowers that appear in small- and mid-sized clusters.
