Bloom:
White, blush edges. The blossoms are chrome yellow suffused and edged with neyron rose. (Mimosa clair, bordé de rose vénitien). None / no fragrance. 24 to 25 petals. Average diameter 4". Large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, cupped-to-flat bloom form. Prolific, blooms in flushes throughout the season. Ovoid buds.
Habit:
Medium, arching, bushy, compact, mounded, spreading. Medium, semi-glossy, medium green, dense, leathery foliage.
Height: 2' to 3' (60 to 90cm). Width: 3' to 4' (90 to 120cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer. Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower, garden or landscape. Hardy. vigorous. produces decorative hips. Disease susceptibility: disease resistant. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that. Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) . Can be grown in the ground or in a container (container requires winter protection).
