Origin:
Bred by Reimer Kordes (1922-1997) (Germany, 1955).
Introduced by Unknown (Australia) in 1960 as 'Ama'.
Class:
Floribunda, Polyantha.  
Bloom:
Orange-red.  Large, double (17-25 petals), cluster-flowered, in large clusters, high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Medium, bushy.  Glossy, dark green, leathery foliage.  

Height: up to 2' (up to 60cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for beds and borders, cut flower or garden.  Vigorous.
