Bred by Mogens Nyegaard Olesen (Denmark, 2002). Bred by Raymond J. Evison (United Kingdom, 2002).
Introduced in Denmark by Poulsen Roser A/S in 2012 as 'Marta'.
Class:
Viticella Group.  
Bloom:
Deep pink.  Light red.  None / no fragrance.  6 to 7 petals.  Average diameter 3".  Small to medium, single bloom form.  Late spring to early autumn.  
Habit:
Short.  

Height: 8" to 16" (20 to 40cm).  Width: up to 5' (up to 150cm).

The present invention constitutes a new and distinct variety of Clematis plant which originated from a controlled crossing between the female seed parent, an un-named seedling, and the male pollen parent, an un-named seedling. Both parent varieties are non-patented.
The two parents were crossed during the summer of 2002 and the resulting seeds were planted the following winter in a controlled environment in Guernsey, Channel Islands, United Kingdom.
