Origin:
Bred by Vince & Sylvia Denny (United Kingdom, 1987).
Introduced in United Kingdom by Denny's Clematis Nursery in 1998 as 'Broughton Bride'.
Class:
Atragene Group, Early Small Flowered, Group 1.  
Bloom:
White.  4 petals.  Average diameter 3.5".  Single, semi-nodding bloom form.  Late spring to early summer, midsummer.  
Habit:

Height: 8' to 12' (245 to 365cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Plant in soil that drains well.  Plant in sun or partial shade.  No pruning required.  Shape or tidy up the plant AFTER flowering is finished.  It blooms on the previous year's growth, so resist the urge to prune it in early spring.
